Flower Masterclass at Blythswood Square Hotel

Today we were joined by 16 enthusiastic students who took part in our Flower Masterclass at Blythswood Square Hotel. They enjoyed an afternoon of flowers, cakes, savouries and bubbly.

Flower School - One Week Career Course

We've just had an amazing week with our four One Week Career Course students. Two had travelled all the way from Dublin to join two Glasgow locals. We tried to cram in everything we know about the business of flowers including tons of designs, business advice and creative spirit.

Flower School Road Trip!

It's official. We are taking our Flower School out on the road. This Autumn we are hosting a series of demonstrations and classes in both Gateshead and Leeds in partnership with Country Baskets.

Join us for our free World of Flowers demonstration or take part in one of our hands on classes: Introduction to Fresh Flowers (3 hours) or Wedding Flowers (2 days).

Flower Demonstration at The Sisters Restaurant Jordanhill

2 Day Wedding Flowers Course

Following on from our one week career courses last year, on 19th-20th January we will offer our first ever 2 Day Wedding Flowers Course. The course covers all aspects of wedding floristry and has been designed for the following types of individuals:

• Professional florists wishing an insight into the style and secrets of Mood Flowers wedding flowers.
• Individuals thinking of starting a career in wedding floristry.
• Wedding planners looking to enhance the flowers skills knowledge to assist brides.
• Brides-to-be, Bridesmaids and Mothers looking for an insight into wedding flowers or those brave enough to create wedding flowers on their own big day.
• Flower enthusiasts wishing to add to their repertoire.

One Week Career Course

Last week we held our inaugural One Week Career Course at the studio. An amazing week or creativity for all those involved. From wedding flowers to contract vases, hand tied bouquets and trips to the market, there was so much to learn for the six people who took part. We wish them all the best of luck with their future floristry endeavours. The next week long course will take place in Autumn - dates to be announced soon.

Flower School - Flowers for the Home - Spring

We hosted the first of the year's Spring Flower School classes on Saturday. The day was filled with hyacinths, daffodils, tulips and a few surprise roses and orchids just to give spring the Mood Flowers twist. If you fancy joing us at a class the next Flowers for the Home - Spring class takes place on Sunday 4th March.

Champagne, Afternoon Tea and Flowers

Nick and Rachel headed down to the luxury surroundings of Hotel du Vin at One Devonshire Gardens on Saturday and spent the afternoon supping champagne (well the 22 ladies participating did!), munching on delicious sandwiches and cakes (once the 22 ladies had gone home!) but mostly demonstrating current flowers trends as well as Mood Flowers signature pieces.
