Last weekend we arrived at the studio at 6am and proceeded to glue over 1,000 gerbera to a sofa! Working with DADA and BoConcept we created an amazing flower sofa and headed down to the Armadillo to help chef Tony Singh launch the Homes & Interiors Scotland Exhibition which will take place on 27th-29th August. You may already have seen the photos in this week's newspapers....
And here's how we did it....

Signature Style
Last Wednesday, we designed flowers for a stunning purple and ivory themed wedding at Cameron House. Our bride and groom chose beautiful vanda orchids, avalanche roses, lisianthus, fragrant freesia and trailing amaranthus to complement the colours of the bridemaids' dresses and chair and table linen.
Over the past 7 years, this tall hour glass arrangement has very much become our signature vase for wedding flowers. We often use two of these tall vases with domed arrangements on top to create the perfect setting for the wedding ceremony. And for when our clients wish to create elegant opulence for the reception we create as many vases as they have tables. The flower variety and colour possibilities are endless....

Luxury Candelabras
Today we were involved in a beautiful wedding at the stunning Cameron House on Loch Lomond. Our lovely bride Charlotte chose our stunning silver candelabras which when teamed with elegant long tapered candles soar to over 1.3m. We packed each one with over 40 akito, avalanche and spray avalanche roses along with luscious foliages.
With three sizes of candelabras in stock we have created so many different designs over the years. Most of our brides opt for classic ivory and white flowers. Here are a few more images from our portfolio...

The Vintage Look
The vintage look for wedding flowers has become increasingly popular in recent years. Today's bride at Cameron House achieved the look perfectly using authentic props such as old black and white photos, ornate candle votives, antique gold lettering and last but not least, the simple, elegant flowers we designed in ivory and cream hues displayed in cut glass vases.

Wedding Flowers
An incredibly busy ten days for us with 15 weddings between last Thursday and this Saturday. However with 4 talented lead wedding florists at Mood Flowers and 5 other fantastic team members, it means each of us can give the individual attention that each bride and wedding requires.
We've already completed the weddings at Pollok House, Eastwood House, Hotel du Vin at One Devonshire Gardens, Oran Mor and Cameron House and over the coming week we look forward to weddings at The Piping Centre, Radisson Blu and 3 more weddings at Cameron House.
Oh and we're also managing to squeeze in 3 photo shoots for Best Scottish Weddings and Homes & Interiors Scotland.
Here's a selection of some of the real wedding bouquets we've designed as well as some of the ones created for the photo shoots...
An autumn inspired hand tied bouquet of grand prix roses, naranja roses, hypericum berries, leucadendron and germini (Best Scottish Weddings shoot)
A gypsy inspired hand tied bouquet of schwarzwalder and mango callas with naranja roses. (Best Scottish Weddings shoot)
