Homes and Interiors Scotland 2011

Next weekend we shall once again be taking part in the Homes and Interiors Scotland Exhibition at the SECC from Friday 28th October until Sunday 30th October. The show is open from 10am until 5pm each day. This is the 7th year we have taken part in the show and we can't wait.
See us in the Design Theatre at the following times:

Sunday 30th October 4pm

and catch Nick in the Christmas Demo Area at the following times:

CIPR Awards

Last night we delivered simple but stylish table centres to the CIPR Pride Awards event at the Radisson Blu hotel in Glasgow. This popular design provides pops of colour through the room but doesn't restrict the view. Available in all colours except blue and purple (because they don't grow gerbera that colour yet)!

Hotel du Vin Wedding Open Day

Last Sunday we met lots of brides and grooms at the Wedding Open Day at Hotel du Vin at One Devonshire Gardens. We showed a fireplace of snowberries, a hydrangea wishing tree and some luxurious table centres and bridal bouquets. It was great to meet up with Twenty Seven Stationery (thanks for completing our wishing tree Emma) and Heathers Cakes (amazing cup cakes and cake pops Heather).

October Weddings

Despite the miserable weather, it's still wedding season in Scotland! Here are a few bouquets from weddings in the last week or so. Apart from classic whites and ivories, bouquets in lilacs and purples still remain the colour choice of the season with hot pinks and nude following close behind.

Autumnal Flower Dress

We were searching through our archived photos today and came across our flower dress photos from a PR campaign we helped Gardening Scotland with a few years ago. Although this shoot was done on a rooftop in Edinburgh in springtime there is definitely something autumnal about it....

Piece of Cake!

If you think flower arranging is a piece of cake then try out the step by step arrangement featured in Sunday's Right at Home magazine in the Sunday Mail. It's the perfect way to display flowers for an afternoon tea, special lunch or even a sophisticated hen party!

SWD Real Life Weddings

We are delighted to have one of our Cameron House weddings feature in the latest issue of SWD's Real Life Weddings magazine. Victoria and Darren's wedding is featured on pages 88-94 of the Winter 2011 issue. Victoria said of our flowers "Wow! There is nothing this husband and wife team cannot do! Nick and Vivienne are sheer perfectionists and supplied simply eye-popping flower features."

David Austin Roses

One of our weddings on Saturday included the beautifully fragrant David Austin roses 'Patience'. These were combined with Amnesia, Talea, Sweet Avalance and Vivienne roses to create vintage style bouquets for both the bride and bridesmaids.
